What type of juicer do you use to make your juice?
We use an industrial grade, hydraulic cold press juicer to make each and every one of our delicious juices!
ARE ALL OF YOUR INGREDIENTS 100% ORGANIC?
Absolutely! We strive to provide our customers with only the best, so naturally our ingredient list reflects that!
WHERE DO YOU SOURCE YOUR INGREDIENTS FROM?
We believe in supporting your own economy to build a stronger community. That’s why we buy all of our ingredients, weather permitting, from local farmers and retailers.
HOW LONG WILL THE JUICE STAY FRESH?
Kept refrigerated and unopened, our juice will maintain its freshness for up to 150 days from the date it was bottled.When you receive your juice, you’ll have at least 14 days before the best before dates printed on the caps (likely longer!). For optimal nutrient absorption, we suggest consuming your juice before the best before date.
SHOULD I FREEZE MY JUICE?
Please do not freeze your juice. Our juices are fresh and never frozen, so freezing can damage the live enzymes and nutrients. It can also cause the product to expand, leading to broken seals and early spoilage. Just keep the juices sealed and refrigerated to maintain their freshness!
DO YOU PASTEURIZE YOUR JUICE?
No! When juice is pasteurized it is heated to a high temperature for a short period destroying the vital nutrients and enzymes of the raw juice.
We use HPP to keep our juice 100% natural so that you get 100% of the nutritional benefits.
WHAT IS HPP (HIGH PRESSURE PROCESSING)?
High pressure processing (HPP) is an all-natural method in which fruits and vegetables are processed under very high pressure. The process kills harmful organisms and bacteria without compromising nutritional value.
Unlike heat pasteurization, HPP retains the taste, texture, nutrients, and quality of the ingredients. It also extends the shelf life of our juices, so you have more time to enjoy them!
IS THE JUICE DILUTED WITH WATER?
Absolutely not! Our juice is made from 100% fresh fruits and vegetables. Blue Lemonade is our cold-pressed juice flavour that contains water.
ARE THERE ANY ADDITIVES OR SWEETENERS IN THE JUICE?
No way! Our delicious juice is created with only raw fruits and vegetables, benefiting from their natural flavours and sugars.
DO YOU RECYCLE?
We believe recycling is imperative to protecting the welfare of the environment. That’s why our juice bottles are made from 100% PET plastic, an eco-friendly packaging option. Please rinse your bottle and dispose of them in your recycling.

SHOULD I BE DRINKING WATER ON THE CLEANSE?
Yes! Drinking plenty of water is key to helping your body flush out toxins. We recommend that you drink at least 8 cups of water each day to make sure you’re staying hydrated while doing your cleanse.
DO YOU HAVE ANY GUIDES OR JUICE LISTS I CAN FOLLOW WHILE CLEANSING?
The Cleanse Guides page contains all the guides and juice lists you will need to effectively complete your cleanse. All you have to do is select the cleanse guide you wish to use, and it will automatically download to your device!
We also recommend following our Pre-Cleanse Instructions to make sure you’re prepared to start your cleanse.
HOW MANY JUICES WILL I BE DRINKING PER DAY?
For each of our juice cleanses, you will be consuming 7 of our raw, organic juices every day.
HOW WILL I KNOW WHICH JUICES TO DRINK AND WHEN?
Our Cleanse Guides page contains all the guides and juice lists you will need to effectively complete your cleanse, including:
- Which juices you will be consuming on each day
- What time of the day you will be drinking each juice
CAN I DRINK ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE JUICE WHILE COMPLETING MY CLEANSE?
Yes! We recommend that you drink at least 8 cups of water for each day of your cleanse. The water will help to flush toxins from your body as well as keep you feeling full.
You can also have warm herbal teas to subside moments of hunger cravings. Specific suggestions will be provided upon cleanse signup.
CAN I EAT ANY SOLID FOOD WHILE I AM CLEANSING?
For the majority of our cleanses the answer is no. One of the main benefits of completing a juice cleanse is to provide your digestive organs with a much needed break. Your body will benefit from the surge of vitamins and nutrients while your digestive organs can simply flush through the juice that you are consuming.
I DIDN’T RECEIVE THE JUICES I EXPECTED IN THE CLEANSE I ORDERED. WHAT DO I DO?
If you didn’t receive the juices you were expecting, check our cleanses page for a full list of juices included in your cleanse.
There are also occasionally substitutions in orders based on stock. Substitutions will always be similar juices that will provide the same nutrients needed for your cleanse, and will not affect the results in any way.

ARE YOUR MEALS ORGANIC?
Yes, our meals are only made with organic ingredients. We have not completed the official organic certification process yet, but using only organic ingredients is an essential part of being a Pulp & Press product.
ARE YOUR MEALS MADE FRESH?
Yes, our meals are made fresh using only the highest quality organic ingredients.
DO YOU SHIP YOUR MEALS FRESH OR FROZEN?
We freeze our meals after they are made to lock-in freshness, maintain product integrity during the shipping process and give you the most flexibility in deciding when to enjoy them.
WILL MY MEALS BE FROZEN WHEN I RECEIVE THEM?
Yes. We recommend storing them in the freezer when you receive unless you plan on consuming them within 4-5 days of receipt.
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO HEAT THE MEALS UP BEFORE SERVING?
We recommend thawing in the fridge overnight and then heating in a conventional oven. However, it is perfectly acceptable to heat in the microwave or conventional oven directly from frozen. Do not use the broil setting or a toaster oven.
HOW LONG ARE THE MEALS GOOD FOR AFTER I DEFROST THEM?
After defrosting a meal it should be consumed within 4-5 days.
ARE MEALS AVAILABLE IN THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA?
Unfortunately, meals are only available in Canada at the moment. We are planning to introduce them to the United States in the near future!

CAN I CLEANSE IF I'M PREGNANT OR BREASTFEEDING?
While cleanses are a great way to boost your health, we don’t recommend them to women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. During this time, it’s important your body is getting sufficient calories to meet the developmental needs of the growing baby in your belly as well as milk production while breastfeeding. Our cleanses simply don’t meet these needs during these periods.
CAN I CLEANSE IF I'M ON MEDICATIONS?
We recommend talking to your doctor before starting a cleanse along with any medication. If you are drinking Eclipse, be sure to take any medications more than 2 hours before or after drinking, as the charcoal can impact the effects of your medication.
CAN I CLEANSE IF I HAVE DIABETES?
If you have a pre-existing health condition like diabetes and are thinking of doing a cleanse, talk to your doctor before you start. This will help make sure your cleanse goes safely and smoothly.
SHOULD I STOP TAKING MY VITAMIN SUPPLEMENTS?
Many people continue to take vitamin supplements while doing a cleanse. As with other medications, we recommend talking to your doctor first so you can make the best choice for you and your body.
SHOULD I GET A COLONIC?
Some health professionals believe that the buildup of fecal matter may cause stagnant toxins to be absorbed into the bloodstream through the colon walls, calls autointoxication. The medical jury is still out on whether or not they fully support the use of colonics for toxin releasing measures, so the decision to get a colonic is based on your own personal opinion.
WHAT IS AN INFRARED SAUNA & HOW WILL IT HELP WITH TOXIN FLUSHING?
This particular type of sauna penetrates your body with an infrared wavelength that mobilizes toxins in your body. This causes the toxins to detach from your cells and make their way into your intestines and digestive tract, and ultimately out of your body. Also, in raising your temperature, you will sweat toxins out of your pores. These sessions are highly recommended for maximizing your toxin release.
WILL A MASSAGE HELP TO FLUSH TOXINS FROM MY BODY?
Yes! Not only are massages incredibly relaxing, they can also mobilize toxins in your body, leading to excretion.
CAN I EXERCISE DURING MY CLEANSE?
Yes! Working up a healthy sweat will release toxins through your pores. Just be smart about it. Listen to your body and don’t over do it.
WHAT IS DRY SKIN BRUSHING & HOW WILL IT HELP WITH TOXIN FLUSHING?
Using a stiff bristle brush, preferably made from natural materials, you firmly brush your skin with strokes brushing towards your heart. Not only will it leave your skin feeling soft, dry skin brushing will also remove dead skin cells that clog your pores, preventing your body from expelling toxins.
Also, dry skin brushing stimulates your lymphatic system, which is responsible for eliminating cellular waste in your body.
WILL SMOKING INTERFERE WITH MY JUICE CLEANSE RESULTS?
There are over 4,000 toxin chemicals present in cigarette smoke, which you then inhale and absorb into your body. To maximize your juice cleanse results, we would strongly suggest that you abstain from smoking in order to flush as many toxins from your body as you can, without adding to the list.
For those of you who are looking to quit smoking, completing a juice cleanse can help to kick bad habits to the curb!
DO YOUR PRODUCTS CONTAIN NUTS?
Our products do not contain nuts, but some of our products are produced in a facility that also produces almond and cashew milks. These are made using different equipment and all equipment is cleaned thoroughly between batches, but our bottles do indicate that they “may contain traces of nuts”.
WHERE DO YOU SHIP?
Pulp & Press ships to most locations across all Canadian Provinces including all major cities and urban areas. Shipping is not available in some northern areas of British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Quebec, and Newfoundland.
Note: If we are unable to ship to your postal code, you will not be able to successfully place an order online. If you are able to successful place your order online, then we are able to ship to your location.
HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?
Pulp & Press charges a minimum shipping fee of $15 for orders less than $155 in all Canadian provinces. Orders over $155 may be eligible for free shipping through our shipping subsidy program.
We will cover shipping costs where we are able to, but, unfortunately, we are no longer able to offer uncapped free shipping to all areas. If you see a shipping cost on your order, that is the amount after we’ve subsidized as much as we were able to cover. This will primarily only affect rural or less urban areas.
Pulp & Press is committed to reducing shipping costs wherever possible and we regularly review rates with our carrier to ensure we get your favourite cold pressed juices to you for the lowest possible cost.
HOW LONG DOES DELIVERY TAKE?
Your order will be delivered in a chilled, insulated box within 2-7 business days. Delivery time depends on location, transport delays, and weather. Please note, we do not ship on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO MY ORDER, ADJUST MY DELIVERY DATE, OR CANCEL MY ORDER?
You absolutely can! Please e-mail our team at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to make any changes to your order. Although it is the customer’s responsibility to provide timely notice of any changes, we will do our best to accommodate requests within our control.
Please note: All cancellations or adjustments to requested delivery dates must be made at least 2 business days prior to your anticipated delivery date. This is to give our team enough time to make the necessary changes to your order before it is picked and packed and sent with our courier. If changes are not submitted to our team before this time, your order will be shipped as originally requested and Pulp & Press will not be responsible for orders that are delivered unexpectedly.
I LIVE IN AN APARTMENT. HOW DOES DELIVERY WORK?
If you live in an apartment, our courier must be let into your building to drop off your package. Our couriers cannot leave packages outside of apartment buildings.
HOW WILL MY ORDER BE DELIVERED?
Orders are packed in insulated boxes with ice packs to keep them nice and cold in transit! Orders shipping to the same address will be packed in as few boxes as possible.
