The Pulp & Press ColdPure Method
What is the ColdPure Method?
The ColdPure Method is our proprietary approach to cold-pressed juice - built on three non-negotiables: certified organic ingredients, HPP (High Pressure Processing) protection, and never heat pasteurized. Together, this approach protects every vitamin, enzyme, and nutrient nature intended, from source to sip. No shortcuts. No compromises.
what is the difference between cold-pressed juice and regular store bought juice?
Not all juice is created equal. Most store-bought juice is made using processes that generate heat during extraction, breaking down enzymes and diminishing nutritional value in the process. Many are then heat pasteurized, further stripping the juice of its living nutrients.
Our cold-pressed juice is extracted using a hydraulic press that applies thousands of pounds of pressure, with no heat, and no compromise. The Pulp & Press ColdPure Method means what ends up in your bottle is as close to nature as bottled juice can get.
What type of juicer do you use to make your juice?
We use an industrial grade, hydraulic cold press juicer to make each and every one of our delicious juices!
ARE ALL OF YOUR INGREDIENTS 100% ORGANIC?
Absolutely! We strive to provide our customers with only the best, so naturally our ingredient list reflects that!
WHAT IS HPP (HIGH PRESSURE PROCESSING)?
High pressure processing (HPP) is an all-natural method in which fruits and vegetables are processed under very high pressure. The process kills harmful organisms and bacteria without compromising nutritional value.
Unlike heat pasteurization, HPP retains the taste, texture, nutrients, and quality of the ingredients. It also extends the shelf life of our juices, so you have more time to enjoy them!
DO YOU PASTEURIZE YOUR JUICE?
No! When juice is pasteurized it is heated to a high temperature for a short period destroying the vital nutrients and enzymes of the raw juice.
We use HPP to keep our juice 100% natural so that you get 100% of the nutritional benefits.
HOW LONG WILL THE JUICE STAY FRESH?
Kept refrigerated and unopened, our juice will maintain its freshness for up to 180 days from the date it was bottled. When you receive your juice, you’ll have at least 14 days before the best-before dates printed on the caps (likely longer!). We do not recommend consuming juices that are beyond the best-before date.
CAN I FREEZE MY JUICE?
Please do not freeze your juice. Our juices are fresh and never frozen, so freezing can damage the live enzymes and nutrients. It can also cause the product to expand, leading to broken seals and early spoilage. Just keep the juices sealed and refrigerated to maintain their freshness!
ARE YOUR COLD-PRESSED JUICES DILUTED WITH WATER?
Absolutely not! Our cold-pressed juice is made from 100% fresh fruits and vegetables. Eclipse is our only cold-pressed juice flavour that contains water.
ARE THERE ANY ADDITIVES OR SWEETENERS IN THE JUICE?
No additives, no fillers, no compromise. Our delicious juice is created with only raw fruits and vegetables, benefiting from their natural flavours and sugars.
Does cold-pressed juice contain a lot of sugar? Is fruit sugar bad for you?
Our juices contain only the natural sugars found in whole fruits and vegetables, nothing added, ever. Natural fruit sugar behaves differently in the body than refined sugar. It comes packed with vitamins, antioxidants, and enzymes that support how your body processes it.
For those mindful of sugar intake, our green juices are naturally lower in sugar and an excellent place to start.
DO YOUR PRODUCTS CONTAIN NUTS?
Our products do not contain nuts, but some of our products are produced in a facility that also produces almond and cashew milks. These are made using different equipment and all equipment is cleaned thoroughly between batches, but for this reason anyone with serious allergies to nuts is advised to err on the side of caution.
Are your products Kosher certified?
Yes. All of our cold-pressed juices, wellness shots, & smoothies are Kosher certified. You can find the Kosher symbol on our packaging, and we’re proud to meet the standards required for certification.
Why do you use plastic bottles?
Our juice bottles are made from 100% PET and BPA free plastic. We choose plastic bottles over glass to achieve maximum shelf stability and minimize the chances of spoilage and food waste through high-pressure processing. Plastic also provides our customers with a more durable and affordable experience for personal shipping options.
We are always on the hunt for new technologies that are sustainable and most widely accepted through the existing recycling infrastructure where our products are purchased.
DO YOU RECYCLE?
We believe recycling is imperative to protecting the welfare of the environment. That’s why our juice bottles are made from 100% PET plastic, an eco-friendly packaging option. Please rinse your bottle and dispose of them in your recycling.

DO YOU HAVE ANY GUIDES OR JUICE LISTS I CAN FOLLOW WHILE CLEANSING?
The Cleanse Guides page contains all the guides and juice lists you will need to effectively complete your cleanse. All you have to do is select the cleanse guide you wish to use, and it will automatically download to your device!
We also recommend following our Pre-Cleanse Instructions to make sure you’re prepared to start your cleanse.
HOW MANY JUICES WILL I BE DRINKING PER DAY?
For each of our juice cleanses, you’ll enjoy a variety of 6 juices and/or smoothies per day.
We also offer recommended wellness shots to pair with each cleanse. Shots can be taken first thing in the morning with a glass of water alongside juice #1, or anytime in the afternoon for an extra boost, whatever fits best into your day.
CAN I DRINK ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE JUICE WHILE COMPLETING MY CLEANSE?
Yes! We recommend that you drink at least 8 cups of water for each day of your cleanse. The water will help to flush toxins from your body as well as keep you feeling full.
You can also have warm herbal teas to subside moments of hunger cravings. Specific suggestions will be provided upon cleanse signup.
CAN I EAT ANY SOLID FOOD WHILE I AM CLEANSING?
For most of our cleanses, the answer is no. One of the key benefits of a juice cleanse is giving your digestive system a much needed break while flooding your body with vitamins and nutrients from fresh juice.
That said, we always encourage you to listen to your body throughout your cleanse and adjust as needed.
I DIDN’T RECEIVE THE JUICES I EXPECTED IN THE CLEANSE I ORDERED. WHAT DO I DO?
If you didn’t receive the juices you were expecting, check our cleanses page for a full list of juices included in your cleanse.
There are also occasionally substitutions in orders based on stock. Substitutions will always be similar juices that will provide the same nutrients needed for your cleanse, and will not affect the results in any way.

CAN I CLEANSE IF I'M PREGNANT OR BREASTFEEDING?
While cleanses are a great way to boost your health, we don’t recommend them to women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. During this time, it’s important your body is getting sufficient calories to meet the developmental needs of the growing baby in your belly as well as milk production while breastfeeding. Our cleanses simply don’t meet these needs during these periods.
CAN I CLEANSE IF I'M ON MEDICATIONS?
We recommend talking to your doctor before starting a cleanse along with any medication.
CAN I CLEANSE IF I HAVE DIABETES?
If you have a pre-existing health condition like diabetes and are thinking of doing a cleanse, talk to your doctor before you start. This will help make sure your cleanse goes safely and smoothly.
SHOULD I STOP TAKING MY VITAMIN SUPPLEMENTS?
Many people continue to take vitamin supplements while doing a cleanse. As with other medications, we recommend talking to your doctor first so you can make the best choice for you and your body.
CAN I EXERCISE DURING MY CLEANSE?
Working up a healthy sweat will help release toxins through your pores. Just be smart about it. Listen to your body and stick to low-impact and moderate exercise like yoga, walking, and light swimming.
WILL SMOKING INTERFERE WITH MY JUICE CLEANSE RESULTS?
There are over 4,000 toxin chemicals present in cigarette smoke, which you then inhale and absorb into your body. To maximize your juice cleanse results, we would strongly suggest that you abstain from smoking in order to flush as many toxins from your body as you can, without adding to the list.
For those of you who are looking to quit smoking, completing a juice cleanse can help to kick bad habits to the curb!

WHERE DO YOU SHIP?
Pulp & Press ships to most locations across all Canadian Provinces including all major cities and urban areas. Shipping is not available in some northern areas of British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Quebec, and Newfoundland.
Note: If we are unable to ship to your postal code, you will not be able to successfully place an order online. If you are able to successfully place your order online, then we are able to ship to your location.
HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?
Pulp & Press charges a minimum shipping fee of $15 for orders less than $155 in all Canadian provinces. Orders over $155 may be eligible for free shipping through our shipping subsidy program.
We will cover shipping costs where we are able to, but, unfortunately, we are no longer able to offer uncapped free shipping to all areas. If you see a shipping cost on your order, that is the amount after we’ve subsidized as much as we were able to cover. This will primarily only affect rural or less urban areas.
Pulp & Press is committed to reducing shipping costs wherever possible and we regularly review rates with our carrier to ensure we get your favourite cold pressed juices to you for the lowest possible cost.
HOW LONG DOES DELIVERY TAKE?
Your order will be delivered in a chilled, insulated box within 2-7 business days. Delivery time depends on location, transport delays, and weather. Please note, we do not ship on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?
Pulp & Press is committed to providing the best possible customer service experience we can! This includes receiving a fresh order as quickly as possible so you can begin your health journey immediately! Since we are in a hurry to get your order to you right away, we may not be able to accommodate cancelations once your order has been placed. For your best chance, please email us at support@pulpandpress.com as soon as possible with your request and we will do our very best to accommodate.
Accommodations will vary depending on how far along your order is. Unfortunately these updates may not be reflected on your order, there fore cancellations cannot be confirmed until our team has heard back from the facility.
I LIVE IN AN APARTMENT. HOW DOES DELIVERY WORK?
If you live in an apartment, our courier must be let into your building to drop off your package. Our couriers cannot leave packages outside of apartment buildings.
HOW WILL MY ORDER BE DELIVERED?
Orders are packed in insulated boxes with ice packs to keep them cold during transit.
To ensure faster delivery and reduce waste:
- Orders with more than one cleanse or pack are shipped using the most efficient packaging, which may mean items are grouped together rather than split evenly across separate boxes.
- Multiple cleanses or packs shipping to the same address will be packed in as few boxes as possible and may not be organized by listed item.
Tip: Please check all boxes upon arrival to confirm all items are included.
