8 Cold Pressed Juice Cocktails You Can Make At Home

1. Caesar

Subbing in one part cold pressed vegetable juice can reduce the high sodium content from processed tomato and clam juice. Our Envy juice is a vegetable-rich juice that provides good-for-you ingredients like cucumber and spirulina, so you can sneak in extra nutrients and lower the sodium concentration without sacrificing the classic Caesar taste.

What You’ll Need:

  • Clamato juice
  • Cold pressed vegetable juice (we recommend Envy)
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Celery
  • Hot sauce (optional)
  • Vodka (optional)

How To Make It:
Add equal parts clamato juice and cold pressed vegetable juice to a glass with a shot of vodka (optional). Add in hot sauce and worcestershire sauce to taste and garnish with celery. Don’t forget to salt that rim!

2. Strawberry Daiquiri

Instead of blending a sugary strawberry daiquiri drink mix, swap in a lighter, low-sugar cold pressed strawberry juice like Very Berry. Save on calories without sacrificing the classic strawberry taste!

What You’ll Need:

  • Cold pressed juice made with strawberries (Very Berry is our pick!)
  • Ice
  • Lime juice
  • Rum (optional)

How To Make It:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and mix until slushy.

3. Tom Collins

Traditionally made with gin and sweet lemonade or a combination of lemon juice and syrup, a Tom Collins can contain a surprisingly high amount of processed sugar. Swap in a lemon-based cold pressed juice (like Spicy Lemon or Zinger) for a light, refreshing drink with a surprising kick.

What You’ll Need

  • Cold pressed juice made with lemons (Spicy Lemon or Zinger)
  • Gin (optional)
  • Soda water
  • Lemon

How To Make It:
Pour equal parts cold pressed juice and soda water into a glass with a shot of gin (skip the gin if you’re making it virgin). Garnish with a slice of lemon and enjoy!

4. Margarita

Margarita mixes are usually blended with sugary syrups that can be masked by the strong lime flavour in the drink. Instead of opting for a pre-made margarita drink mix, reach for a cold pressed juice that contains lime and natural sweetness from other fruits. Kick it up a notch with a spicy addition like Diablo for an extra punch of flavour.

What You’ll Need:

  • Cold pressed juice made with limes (our go-to is Diablo for that spice!)
  • Tequila (optional)
  • Orange liqueur (optional)
  • Limes
  • Salt

How To Make It:
Coat the rim of a glass with juice from a lime, then press the rim into salt. Combine cold pressed juice with a shot of tequila and orange liqueur (both optional) in the glass and garnish with a slice of lime.

Pro Mixing Tip: Make sure you consider the sweetness and flavour profile of the juices you’re swapping in. For savoury drinks, choose juices with low sugar content. If you’re looking for something a little sweeter, choose juices with more fruit content for natural sweetness.

5. Cosmopolitan

Instead of sugary cranberry juice, swap in a lighter, cold pressed fruit juice. Our probiotics Quench and Very Berry are infused with a white tea base to make them light and refreshing but are still loaded with nutrients and gut-healthy probiotics.

What You’ll Need:

  • Cold pressed fruit juice (Quench for watermelon lovers; Very Berry if good ol’ fashion mixed berry is your flavour of preference)
  • Lime juice
  • Triple sec (optional)
  • Vodka (optional)
  • Ice

How To Make It:
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Pour into a martini glass and garnish with a slice of orange.

6. Pina Colada

Pre-made pina colada mixes are laden with sugar and other processed ingredients. If you’re looking for a simple swap, try mixing rum (optional) with a cold blended smoothie that contains natural tropical ingredients like pineapple and coconut milk to give you a little taste of paradise. Monsoon is a great option to try!

What You’ll Need:

  • Cold blended pineapple smoothie (pick Monsoon for that tropical taste!)
  • Rum (optional)
  • Ice

How To Make It:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and mix until slushy.

7. Sangria

Whether you’re making red sangria or white sangria, there are tons of opportunities to change up the ingredients and swap in your favourite cold pressed juices instead.

If you’re making red sangria, look for juices that contain beets, berries, and other dark red or purple ingredients to match the richness of the red wine flavour and the dark colour of your punch. We suggest Rinse & Rebeet or Red Monster.

If you’re making white sangria, look for juices that are light in colour with refreshing ingredients like watermelon, pineapple, lime, and lemon. Green Glow and Quench are our top picks!

What You’ll Need:

  • Red or white wine (non-alcoholic if preferred)
  • Fresh fruit (oranges, apples, strawberries, lime, lemon, or similar)
  • Soda water
  • Cold pressed fruit juice (Rinse & Rebeet/Red Monster or Green Glow/Quench)
  • Brandy (optional)

How To Make It:
Add all ingredients to a large pitcher and stir to combine. Serve with ice.

8. Mimosa

Nothing says “brunch” like mimosas! Although orange juice can contain a high amount of vitamin C, it can also contain a high amount of unnecessary sugar. Swap the OJ for a juice that contains other healthy ingredients to boost the nutrient intake, like Beta Blaster.

What You’ll Need:

  • Cold pressed fruit juice (Beta Blaster gets our pick)
  • Sparkling wine (non-alcoholic, if preferred)
  • How To Make It:
Combine equal parts fruit juice and sparkling wine (or sparkling water) in a champagne glass.
